We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, was given by inspiration of God, and thus is infallible and inerrant. It is our only rule in matters of faith and practice.

We believe in creation, not evolution; that man was created by the direct act of God and in the image of God.

We believe that Adam and Eve, in yielding to the temptation of Satan, became fallen creatures. We believe that all men are born in sin.

We believe in the Incarnation, the Virgin Birth, and the Deity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe in his vicarious and substitutional Atonement for the sins of mankind by the shedding of His blood on the cross.

We believe in the resurrection of His body from the tomb, His ascension to Heaven, and in His power to save men from sin.

We believe in the necessity of the New Birth, and that this New Birth is through the regeneration of the Holy Spirit.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, plus nothing, minus nothing, in the atoning blood of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, as to the basic purpose of the Association–the promotion of Christian Education at all levels–we believe the Holy Bible is the only true source of educational philosophy particularly with regard to the nature of man, the purpose of life, the power of God, and the nature of knowledge. We affirm that Jesus Christ is the sole object of identity and reality; that He is the only true source of knowledge and that He has defined forever absolute principles for righteous human behavior. We further declare that the chief end of Christian education is to train the whole person by academic and extra-curricular programs to be born-again, to grow spiritually, and to serve Jesus Christ continuously. We believe that all of life is sacred and must be lived to the glory of God. We adhere to personal and ecclesiastical separation from the world.

Affiliation in the New York Association of Christian Schools and other benefits and services shall not be open to schools that choose to be registered with the New York State Education Department or to schools, churches or individuals who espouse the tenet of, or cooperate with, the World Council of Churches, the National Council of Churches, the ecumenical movement, the charismatic (tongues) movement, or any other organization and movement which is contrary to Scriptural doctrine.

We believe that this Statement of Faith and Practice is sufficient basis for fellowship and cooperation among fundamental Christian educators, and that all born-again men and women who sincerely accept it can and should work together in peace and promote harmony among the members of the Association.
